Read This. Drink that.

Few things are more pleasurable than curling up on the sofa with a cup of tea or cocoa on a cold and rainy day with a really good book. Doing so with a friend or sweetheart can especially be rewarding if he or she is also reading as you can share with one another. This "sharing" is usually preceded by a few chuckles and smirks, an exaggerated "OH. MY. GOD.! I have to read you this!!" and then loudly citing a random paragraph which is undoubtedly met with a blank stare.

By the third or fourth time this happens your comrade rises from his or her once comfortable position and retreats to either the computer or down for a nap, claiming they don't feel like reading and then telling you that they are finding it difficult to focus.

Perhaps they should have picked a more enticing peice of lit. Here's a good place to start:

Incidentally, the "cocoa" and "tea" to which I refer can be found at the link below. If the most intoxicating perfume in the world could be inhaled and immeditately ingested - this would, IMO, definitely be it. Pairs well with teaching your chickens to fly or escaping those ominous Ruskies.

Wistful Thinking....

Oh! I've created a wist list with widgets! Search engine, gift registry, deal finder and window shopper all in one.

Untrained eyes beware:The only glitch I found so far is the site's inability to decipher knock off Christian Louboutins from the real deal. The same applies to all items I am sure so if its not a known site you are being linked to, be very cautious. [segue way]Unless of course you don't care if you are purchasing a knock off in which case you should be burned at the stake for your participation in enslaving thousands of adolescent sweatshop workers in third world countries. Not to mention spitting in the faces of every fine craftsman, seamstress and designer who puts countless HOURS into hand-crafting just one piece. Yes its true that emulation is the greatest form of flattery but trust me, its not only the knock-offs that look bad and cheap - you do too. [end segue way].

and Leah's wishlist (still VERY much a work in progress): http://wists.com/leahg1
Happy shopping!
